Interior design and finishing in Kilimani
Nairobi County. Kilimani is apartment country.
Kilimani is apartment country. Most of the units we work on here are 2- and 3-bedroom flats in blocks built between 2008 and 2022, with 2.6 to 2.8 metre ceilings, tiled floors and galley kitchens that owners want to open up. Many are owned by people who live elsewhere and let the unit, so a lot of our Kilimani work is landlord refreshes: repaint, new ceilings with LED coves, SPC flooring over tired tiles, and a kitchen door swap.
Working in Kilimani apartments means working with building management. We agree hours with the caretaker (usually 8 am to 5 pm, no Sundays), book the service lift for deliveries, protect the common corridors and isolate the unit's water supply instead of the block's riser when doing bathrooms. Our team has done this in blocks on Kirichwa Road, Dennis Pritt, Rose Avenue and Wood Avenue.
The most requested services in Kilimani are kitchen and bathroom renovations, feature walls behind beds and TVs, made-to-measure curtains for the tall windows that face Ngong Road, and full move-in décor packages for new owners. Office work here is mostly small professional suites: law firms, clinics and agencies in the mixed-use buildings along Argwings Kodhek and Lenana Road.
